Besides his numerous public sculpture commissions, Biagi has created an oeuvre of furniture in bronze which incorporates marble, glass and intricate bas reliefs. These works reflect his classical training in various sculptural materials in Pietrasanta, Italy where he still maintains a studio. Biagi integrates the style and design elements developed by the ancient civilizations of that region, such as the Hittites, Minoans and Etruscans ; in addition to drawing on Renaissance motifs and techniques – creating uniquely modern and elegant furniture.
