Jenny Reeves Johnson studied Art at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1975 in addition to art teaching credentials. Upon graduation, she settled in the Rocky Mountains to create life’s adventures. After two years of teaching, “a young ambitious art heart took me back into studio art.” Since 1977, Jenny has created and maintained art studios offering space to multiple artists and hosting exhibitions and sales. Jenny has shown and sold functional, decorative and sculptural work across the country. She has taught kindergarten through college level art, and child-adult community art classes.

In the early 2000s’ Jenny produced three very large public hand built clay tile installations in Missoula, Montana, McCloud, California and a community mural in Mt. Shasta, California. The Mt. Shasta mural has drawn much attention and is featured in an extensive oral history project of the Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley, CA.

Jenny and her husband split their time between managing a beautiful ranch in northern Wyoming and creating art at Sweetwater Studio in Lander, Wyoming.
